Melaka / End of Honeymoon

Tried the Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tarts trio for $14.90 – including chocolate, durian and original cheese. #dayrefatties #dayretravel #melaka

Also tried the supposedly "best" durian chendol in Malacca for $5.90 but seriously this was so mehhhh 😑 the one at Jonker88 is so much better!! Albeit more pricey.

This particular shop, Lao Qian Ice Cafe, just happens to have a favourable location I feel? Being right next to the famous chicken rice ball shop. We didn't eat the chicken rice balls anyway cos the queue was maddeningly long in the sweltering heat, so no thanks!

Went to Christ Church to look for the trishaw vendor whom we promised last night that we'll come back to take his ride…

And here we are! Picked an Elsa themed trishaw haha and brought along our dearest Baby Pooh for the ride 😂 #nojudging

Our guide was very enthusiastic! 1 hour for 40 ringgit and he brought us to a lot of sights, told us about the history of each, and even helped us take photos! 👍

He even brought us to see the "Malacca tree" and plucked its fruit for us to try!! It was pretty bitter 😐

Look ma, I sat on an original cannon.

And rode a train lol our guide made us do this pose.

Horse carriage! Same price as trishaw.

At the fort.

$9.90 Bikini Signature Shake at Bikini Toppings. It is coconut ice cream blended with coconut juice and flesh.
Verdict? Also quite meh. We didn't think it was worth all the rave reviews leh.

Rm10 for this lunch set per person! Very affordable and filling?!!

We both went back for another massage haha. Here's with the boss Jey who's super friendly and sincere. If you guys are planning to go Malacca next time, can tell him you're Budget Babe's reader! #notsponsored (we paid for all the services we took, twice!)

Saw a rainbow in the sky on our way back! What a great end to our honeymoon. Malacca you've been fantastic!
