1-Year Wedding Anniversary

Said this last week about Ayondo IPO…

Ayondo indeed opened at $0.24 today.

Happy first year anniversary, my love!

Can't believe it's been one year already! Feels like just yesterday when I was still very much active in #dayrebrides and fretting over the wedding prep!

First march-in with my dad…we were so nervous!

Love how my PG captured this moment!

We had our solemnization during the banquet too cos we wanted all our loved ones and friends to be there with us at such a significant milestone!

(plus cheaper and easier also to not do it on two separate days or venues, heh)

Still crying 😂 we've been together for close to 4 years and I've ever only seen him cry on two occasions – our wedding and at the passing of his grandma.

My handsome man who teared up during his wedding vows lol

We were up bright and early to prepare for our big day.

@joannataymua came real early too for my hair and makeup! Thank you for making me feel so at ease babe, and for the magic you did with my hair and (oily) complexion.

Disney reference for our Cinderella themed wedding.

My bridesmaids busying themselves preparing the gatecrash items! I can't wait till May where I'll get to be a bridesmaid again and return the favour to one of my girls 😁

Cinderella had her bluebirds, but mine came in the form of my lovely friends Herliena and Izzy as they helped me with my wedding gown.

Arrival of the groom.

After having successfully passed the gatecrash, N was presented with one last challenge before he could get the keys to my room – reading out and committing to these 10 promise vows!

A tender moment with his grandma during the tea ceremony at his house.

Reading the 10 promises together. I really love this kua cos of how significant it is – N's own mother got married in it as well (and so did all her sisters). Having had so many daughters, N's grandma invested in this silk kua for all her daughters and saw them get married (out) in it. It finally came full circle back to her and she saw her granddaughter-in-law get married into her family wearing this. I'm glad my MIL and I decided to do this together :')

The weather was gorgeous that day.

Exterior of my banquet venue 😍 still loving the magical Cinderella carriage which was a fantastic decor + photo opp for the guests (our married aunts and uncles took couple photos on it, so cute!!!!) and of cos the gelato ice cream cart which the guests went crazy over cos I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream!!!! Thank you @mannapotcatering for the magical memories you created for us!

Another glimpse of the gorgeous gelato cart 😍 I'm really glad we went with Manna Pot as our decor and F&B vendor! Best decision ever.

#diybrides #budgetbrides tip: camp on #dayrebrides and the Budget Brides facebook group to buy secondhand decor items off other brides! I got my guest book, ang pow box and signages from there…so my reception items were under $50 in total 😁

White and pure.

Signing our lives away to each other. My dad's frail hands in this photo actually makes me a bit sad though, I really hope God blesses his health and lets him live for many more years to come 😕

Holy Communion.

Second march-in…

…into our first dance as husband and wife!
