A reader, Wenli (sorry I dunno your Dayre username cos you didn't say!) emailed me this morning about setting up a Whatsapp group chat for females to discuss stocks and female finances #dayrefinance
I think that's a fabulous idea! But errrr I'd rather not have too many people know my mobile number, so what about if we do it via Facebook Secret Group? Would you guys like having such a support group?

On a side note, I'm supposedly on MC today cos I'm nursing a really bad sore throat and flu but there's so much to do at work that I'm…still working 😑
I have this theory that my tonsils are more sensitive than the average person because 1. I use my voice a lot cos of teaching and 2. I can't give up on my chocolates 🙊 gonna start tracking how many times I get a sore throat this year to test if my theory is correct.
All my meds…with extra lozenges cos I've got a few calls today and I won't be able to speak without them.

My vision for the female investors group:
1. An open discussion of stocks, IPOs and strategies
+ not limited to just SGX!
+ contribute your research on a stock you like
+ ask, or answer, meaningful questions that add to the depth of analysis
+ you'll have to be a participant, not a silent reader who greedily eats off others' ideas
2. Sharing of stocks related news
3. Motivate, and encourage each other, in the investment world where females are a rarity!
I'll love to have fellow admin or moderators who have experience in the stock markets and who can guide our members along as well. Any volunteers? 😄
Facebook group created! Search for "women who invest" and it'll be the one with a cartoon #ladyboss holding up a stack of cash haha.
I experimented with Telegram but saw from the comments that not all of you have an account! Also, I do feel that for more serious investors, you might appreciate it being on Facebook as it offers a lot more flexibility!
