Thankful that all of you here are so understanding about the constraints I'm facing in organising this event!

I'm really excited about this as it'll be my first public appearance ever since I started writing SG Budget Babe. Previously all the other speaking engagements I accepted were purely closed-door, private events.

But the more exciting part is that I'll be finally meeting some fellow Dayreans! This is like a Christmas Dayre Meetup haha and I hope it sets everyone in a good stead for next year!

I'm thinking whether to include a freebie pack for attendees but #budget argh. Will see!

Initially, I had written to a cafe that is owned by a fellow blogger as I thought they'll be more understanding that way, but didn't get any response 😕 guess they're not interested, which I can also understand because a lot of the other cafes I approached either said no or required a minimum spending fee of $800 to $900 if we wanted to book the whole space 😓

We're still trying to settle the venue! I'm praying for the best. Backup is the cafe above k? Quite central too 👍🏻

30 Dec folks whom we originally included in the headcount, could you please confirm on Google? Or it'll be extra costs as we had pitched to sponsors based on the original numbers 😓

Gotta dash now for a dinner meeting with my good friend to discuss her wedding dance choreography! She wanted a first dance but the rates charged by wedding choreographers were so exorbitant that I told her I'll do it for her for free as an extra wedding gift heh. Quite excited! She and her fiancé are my favourite couple from our university days staying together and I'm so glad to see them walk to where they are today 😍
