Went on Channel 8 to share about how we handle our finances as a couple! Guo Liang's comments were quite funny π
After the show we kept wondering, why did they keep talking about how discussing personal finances could hurt the feelings between a couple? N and I didn't really have this problem leh, but we figured maybe cos we started talking about it even before we got engaged.
The financial advisor on the show said that couples should first enjoy their honeymoon phase after marriage and get to know each other's financial lifestyle habits better, before opening a joint bank account, etc.
N and I looked at each other cos we literally opened our bank account on the first day as a wedding couple LOL and our first order of duty was to deposit our wedding angpaos inside there!
We also shared about our joint account, where basically we do lump sum contributions (instead of fixed monthly inputs) and I generally use some of that cash to invest for both of us.

Omg was stressing out over this during the weekend cos we didn't know how to pronounce many terms in Mandarin, such as "high interest yielding joint savings account", "excel spreadsheet to track" and even "investing in cryptocurrencies"!!! Thank you A (the Dayrean who invited me on the program) for helping us through them!! π
Went for dinner at Otto Deli Fresh (Holland) after we were done with filming!
$12.90 mussels – omg the sauce for this was super good, we slurped up every last drop.
N got the squid ink risotto ($25.40) whereas I got the giant beef skewer ($25.90) and both were really delish!
The pink lime drink ($6.90) was recommended by the staff as their bestseller, but I thought it was so-so only leh. Not really worth the $7 omg εΏη I'd rather buy two rounds of fresh juice elsewhere.
Anyway but we used The Entertainer app so we got one course free (-$25) in our bill! ππ
Wtf but we had to pay $8.50 for parking π no wonder every other car in front of us was driving to the open air carpark instead!!!!!!! π πΈπΈ
Choreographed and taught a dance piece to this group yesterday as well! Haha the musicality was probably the hardest to hit.

Was super excited to try this after seeing it on Mothership, but it didn't taste very nice leh π
Made it to Farah's wedding at the last minute! Lol all we did was literally turn up, take photo with the gorgeous bride and groom, admire the decor, sign the guestbook and drop in our angpao π
We came from another banquet dinner right before and honestly, I think we're at that stage of life now where wedding banquet food bores us because there's so many to attend π really is just show up take photo give angbao only lol.
Generally we won't bao any angpao if we're not even attending / eating, but Farah is a good friend from university who also came to our wedding last year so this cash blessing was a joy to give π
What an odd dish… The duck looking at itself π made me feel guilty about taking a piece. This was during the SGX dinner! π
